What a fantastic idea hiking half-circle around Kathmandu valley rim. With our efficient guides, you will hike five hours starting from Sundarijal through Shivapuri National Park area abundant with waterfalls and flora until you arrive at Chisapani, enjoy the Nagarkot, famous for mountain and sunrise views, walking down all the way to see the stunning view from Dhulikhel town, with old houses and temples. From the town, the next destination will a Buddhist holy site of Namo Buddha and then to an old Newari town of Panauti, and relax in Kushadevi Himalayan Resort in Kushadevi (Panauti) at the edge of the village, bordering community forest and with full mountain views to the north.
Arrive and settle in your hotel. Meet your tour guides for the briefing of the next day’s tour.
Day 2-Kathmandu to Chisapani:
Your tour guide will collect you at the hotel lobby and drive you to Sundarijal, where your trekking starts. You hike five hours to Chisapani where you will have night rest.
Day3-Chisapani to Nagarkot:
Next morning, you start for Nagarkot, enjoy beautiful views, and if you are lucky you will be able to see clear mountains and sun-rise. Stroll around small towns and enjoy the evening in the cafes or restaurants before retiring to your hotel.
Day4-Nagarkot to Dhulikhel:
This is going to be your long day. You hike in the trails for six hours to reach Dhulikhel, before retiring in your comfort. Relax in the hotels and explore the old town with old temples and houses.
Day5-Dhulikhel to Namobudha:
The next day is trek leads to beautiful Buddhist holy places with stupas and monasteries. Go around the monasteries, try yoga or enjoy Tibetan food.
Day6-Namobuddha to Panauti/Kushadevi village:
The last segment of the hiking is to an old town of Panauti, which is one of the oldest Newari settlements with beautiful temples. Stroll around the city and walk 45 minutes more to Kushadevi Himalayan Resort in Kushadevi, and enjoy the quiet village, feel peace and view mountains from its bar.
Day7- Drive back to Kathmandu:
