You will get a taste of Kathmandu’s cultural highlights during your Luxury Kathmandu Valley Tour. There were three periods of medieval rule in Kathmandu Valley. There have been many wars fought between these three medieval principalities. Nevertheless, they have endured temples, palaces, and the development of arts and architecture; many still stand with charm and glories and have been listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
There are several UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu, including Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu), Patan and Bhaktapur, the Buddhist stupas of Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath, and Pashupatinath. The Kathmandu valley tour allows you to experience art and culture from several centuries. Besides having temples and stupas, Kathmandu is also a “City of Devotees”.
