Mr Shakti Ghimire
He has over a decade of experience in hospitality industries such as Himalayan Quest Travel, Kathmandu – Nepal to Namaste Tourism world, and the UK. He graduated from The University of Greenwich in Business Information Technology and is currently involved in Social and Human Rights NGOs, IT, Education, Tourism & Logistics businesses in the UK. Awards: – International Youth Foundation’s Youth Action Net Award – 2006, USA – Best idea to change the world Award – International Summer School, UK, 2004.
Dr Krishna Prasad Upadhyaya Ghimire
Instrumental in launching Kushadevi Himalayan Resort in Nepal, Dr Krishna joined Himal Holidays Ltd, UK, as an Investor. He has a PhD from SOAS (University of London) in internal armed conflict and pursued an MA in Human Rights. Starting as a reporter in the Kathmandu Post Daily in the early 1990s, also worked for nearly three decades as human rights professional, holding both expert and senior management positions in South and South-East Asia, the UK, and Norway. Lately, he has conducted research on international migration and forced labour and advised labour rights projects as an international consultant. Simultaneously, has also taught International Human Rights and Humanitarian Laws to students of the MA in International Relations and Diplomacy (MIRD) Programme, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, as a Senior Visiting Fellow.
Pandit Nilhari Ghimire
Pandit Ghimire, a well known among Indian and Nepalese communities in the UK, is a Hindu priest based in southeast London. He has been guiding the communities for Hindu Pilgrimage for the last 16 years. In addition, he is Hindu Holi Tour Consultant at Himal Holidays.
